Health and Safety Training


West Essex and London Limited provide high quality training in health and safety.

Courses are delivered at our new training facility in Waltham Abbey and all courses are delivered to the highest standards, with all trainers fully qualified in their respective areas of expertise and holding professional training certification. Our courses are accredited (as appropriate) by many governing bodies in Health and Safety and delivered in accordance with the Professional Associaion of Learning Providers and Trainers (P.A.O.I.P.A.T) codes of practice.

Our trainers work exclusively for West Essex and London Limited and as such they are flexible to undertake training at short notice, at no extra cost to you (subject to availability and a booking of 5 or more delegates or appropriate fees).

1/2 Day Courses

Courses run from 8:30 - 12:30 or 13:00 - 17:00 and include refreshments, course notes and certificate* on completion. Price per delegate £55.00 with reductions for multiple delegates (please contact us for information)

IOSH Courses


Managing Safely

This course is for managers and supervisors in any sector, and any organisation. It’s designed to get managers up to speed on the practical actions they need to take to handle health and safety within their teams.

This four / five day course can be delivered in one of three ways to suit your requirements:

Block course (4 days intensive) Four days within one week.
Split course Ref: sc1 (2 days one week-2 days the next week)
Split course Ref: sc2 (5 day course- 1 day per week for 5 weeks)

Price per delegate £555.50 (this includes refreshments-light lunch and all workbooks/reference material including certification* after successful completion of assessments)

Working Safely

This course is for people at any level, in any sector, needing grounding in the essentials of Health and Safety.

This one day course meets the government’s guidelines for introductory health and safety training and is a 100 per cent match to the health and safety executives “passport” syllabus.

If your company has 5 or more delegates, please enquire for the discounted prices and dates to suit your requirements.

Price per delegate: £110.00 (this includes refreshments-light lunch and all workbooks/reference material including certification* after successful completion of assessment)

We run both courses mentioned above on a regular basis ‘pending IOSH approval’ so please contact the reception on 020 3489 9475 to enquire about available dates. We can undertake courses at short notice for delegates of 5 or more.

* All course prices are subject to £20 certification fee per delegate for all courses undertaken (set by accreditation provider).

Any of the above half day courses can be delivered at your place of work


All we require is a suitable area / classroom (with electrical power supply), in order to deliver the training, with access to a suitable means of projecting the information (as required).

We do supply a laptop computer for small groups of delegates (up to 10) to view information.

All courses delivered include: course materials & certification (some courses may incur a fee for certification of £20 per delegate - fee set by accreditation provider)
